ML-4218 series gas alarm control panel, which produced by the surface mount technology, have a modern appearance, and a highly efficient and determinant operating performance.

Zone inputs contain 2-stage gas detection technology. GD2R Gas detectors should be used in applications for using this technology with a great efficiency.

The control panel includes 16 relay outputs in total for 8 zones; this enables a relay output for each detection stage. Due to this opportunity, control panels and detectors may be included into automations of large-scaled applications, which contain ventilation systems that can be regulated according to the gas concentration.

Gas alarm zone LEDs blink in case of first-stage gas alarm. Furthermore, gas alarm zone LEDs flashes continuously in case of second-stage gas alarm.

Gas alarm systems can be chosen as being latched from the control panel. If gas alarm information coming from the gas detectors is over, the reset button can be pressed and the system will be reset.

There are volt free changeover relay contact outputs of gas alarm control panel for controlling other devices and for transferring information to the other systems.

Some properties of the control panel can be controlled by remote control inputs. By these inputs, system can be switched to alarm mode, alarm mode can be cancelled, system can be switched to fault mode or system can be reset.

Control panels detect alarm information coming from gas detectors, and this detection can be delayed for a thirty-second as a standard time period. This period can be defined for each zone or alarm-stage. Additionally, a delay period, which is up to nine minutes, can be assigned into the sounder outputs of gas alarm control panels.

In gas alarm control panels, gas alarm zones can be disabled and/or switched to test mode on customer’s demand. If any gas alarm is received in case of test mode, system will reset itself in a few seconds automatically.
